Come share simple, cheap activities people can do with kids K-12 to get them interested in STEM. Preferred activities are ones that are "open-ended" and require the kids to do some engineering. Examples of such activities are Scribblebots (http://www.skunkscience.com/scribblebots/), Beetlebots (http://makezine.com/projects/make-12/beetlebots/), and DIY Speakers (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ytaiA1ptV-0). Where possible, attendees should bring an example of the activity for people to check out, activity instructions, and/or a parts list with estimated costs.
