Tutorial: SciGaP Tutorial: Developing Science Gateways using Apache Airavata

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Science gateways, or Web portals, are an important mechanism for broadening and simplifying access to computational grids, clouds, and campus resources. Gateways provide science-specific user interfaces to end users who are unfamiliar with or need more capabilities than provided by command-line interfaces. In this tutorial, we present SciGaP, which includes software from the CIPRES, UltraScan, Neuroscience, GridChem Gateways combined with the Apache Airavata server-side system for managing jobs and data. Our goal is to show participants how to build and run gateways using both software and collected experience from some of the most heavily used XSEDE science gateways.
